Lead Logistics

Job Summary

Lead Logistics Specialist will organize the distribution of goods and supplies, ensuring that the right items are delivered to the correct locations on time and at a good cost.

• Strategically plan and coordinate material deliveries to job sites.
• Facilitate material orders to align with project schedules.
• Forecast needs for projects.
• Track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Handle other responsibilities as assigned.

• Self‑motivated, positive, professional, and able to lead others in project process improvement.
• Promote company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
• Proven problem‑solving skills, critical thinking, effective communication (read, write, oral presentation).
• High skill level to interpret blueprints and project documents including specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
• Ability to travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
• Ability to learn company and customer project management systems.
• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Experience in customer interface, acting as liaison between customer and company.
• Minimum of three years logistics experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Meet company minimum driving standards.
• Manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Position promotes into Logistics Manager.

USD $29,000 – $32,000 per year.

2–4 years.
