Position Summary
The Project Coordinator supports the successful execution of enterprise projects that advance the Credit Union’s strategic goals, operational effectiveness, member experience, and growth. Working collaboratively with internal and external project partners, this role coordinates project plans, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, requirements, testing, deliverables, and status reporting. The position helps keep technology implementations, vendor integrations, process improvements, and other strategic initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget.
EssentialResponsibilities
Develops and manages project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
Coordinates enterprise projects from initial planning through implementation, stabilization, closeout, and postmortem reviews. This work includes bringing on new technologies, vendor onboarding and integration, automation, product, process, and operational initiatives.
Coordinates cross-functional project activities, meetings, resources, schedules, budgets, quality expectations, and deliverables.
Prepares agendas and supporting materials; documents decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines; monitors progress; and escalates delays, risks, and roadblocks to appropriate project leaders.
Prepared project status reports, dashboards, and leadership materials, and maintains project documentation, repositories, lessons learned, templated, and governance standards.
Coordinates discovery and requirements-gathering activities and documents business, operational, technical, compliance, reporting, and vendor needs.
Evaluates current and future processes, identifies improvement opportunities, and supports testing, implementation, adoption, and ongoing ownership.
Maintains project risk, issue, dependency, decision, and change documentation.
Tracks budgets, invoices, commitments, forecasts, vendor deliverables, testing, approvals, and contractual milestones.
Documents and escalates potential impacts to scope, schedule, resources, budget, employees, members, and project outcomes.
Builds effective relationships with internal and external project partners while promoting communication, accountability, and consistent project management practices.
Maintains relevant professional and technical knowledge through continuing education and industry involvement.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, technology, finance, project management, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, and industry-recognized professional certifications.
Experience- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible project coordination or project management experience, including responsibility for project schedules, requirements, risks, action items, stakeholders, vendors, budgets, and deliverables.
- Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional technology, system implementation, product, operational, automation, or process improvement projects involving multiple departments and external vendors.
