Overview
St. Mary Catholic Central, a Catholic college-preparatory high school committed to academic excellence, faith formation, and student success, is seeking a dedicated, student-centered College Counselor to join our staff. The College Counselor will guide students and families through the college search, application, and decision-making process while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about college admissions, passionate about working with adolescents, and committed to helping students discern their academic and personal goals in a faith-filled environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field preferred - Previous experience in college counseling, school counseling, admissions, or secondary education preferred
- Knowledge of college admissions processes and trends
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, faculty, and college representatives
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
