  Up to $40/hour
• Weekly Meals/Housing Stipend Available for Qualified Travelers

Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher will:

• Provide quality educational services to students receiving special education support
• Develop and implement individualized instruction and student programs
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support teams
• Provide consultation, tutorial assistance, and classroom support
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
• Valid state teaching certification required per state/district regulations
• Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred
• Special Education certification preferred
• Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement preferred
• Current CPR certification if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
• State Teacher Certification;

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
