What you will do as a Speech Language Pathologist with Shared Services Home Health Care:

• Review request for occupational therapy and physicians orders.
• Interview client to determine type of treatment and schedule therapy.
• Evaluate type of therapy most desirable after consulting with physician.
• Assist clients in ambulatory training as necessary.
• Recommend modifications and changes in the clients therapy treatment as indicated.
• Ensure that all therapist notes are informative and descriptive of the care provided and of the clients response to the care.
• Select rehabilitative and therapeutic activities and exercises based on medical and social history of clients.

When you could be working with us in home care:

• Contingent Position/PRN
• Looking for 1-2 days a week to provide patient care

Where you could be working with us in home care:

• Northern Monroe County
• Washtenaw County
• Western Wayne County

What it takes to join our team:

• Doctoral degree in SLP from an accredited college or program
• Must possess an active license to practice as a SLP in the State of Michigan
• 1 year of homecare experience preferred
• Experience with Wellsky/Kinnser preferred
