- Epic charting experience required - Experience with pediatric patient population, including autism, developmental delays, language disorders, and birth defects.

Description:

Schedule is flexible. Options include 4x10s:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 07:30 - 18:00. Friday from 07:30 - 17:00. Alternate option of 5x8s: 3 days from 09:30 - 18:00. 2 days from 07:30 - 16:00. No weekends required. Daily visits per day: 9. Patient age groups include infants, pediatrics, and adolescents. Documentation system used is Wellsky/Epic. Provider support includes interpretation services and unit secretarial support.

Required skills and experience:

- Use of alternative communication devices.

- Assessment and evaluation processes.

- Knowledge of mental, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

- Patient and family education.

- Familiarity with Medicaid regulations.

- Proficiency in SLP evaluation coding.

- Awareness of signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. Floating to other units and/or facilities may be required. Vaccination for COVID-19 and flu is required, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons. References are required from within the last 24 months. Minimum of 1 year of acute experience is necessary. Candidates must not have worked for the facility in the past year to be re-considered.

All clinicians' schedules can be adjusted with two weeks' notice. Forms of communication and documentation must comply with facility standards.
