Primary Job FunctionLicensed Behavior Analysts are responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating behavioral health treatment services for individuals diagnosed with autism. This includes using a variety of behavioral and skill assessments to develop meaningful treatment programs that decrease barriers to learning, increase opportunities for growth and positively impact the quality of life of the individuals served. In addition to clinical service delivery, the LBA will provide training and supervision for behavioral technicians and collaborate with external and internal treatment team members.
EssentialJob Functions
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and various skills assessments
- Design and develop individualized behavior programs
- Ensure adherence to company therapeutic standards of excellence
- Develop electronic data collection measures for all levels of treatment programs
- Monitor client progress, complete data decision analysis, update/revise treatment plan
- Provide caregiver education and support
- Maintain consistent, reliable schedule with clients
- Provide appropriate amount and scope of case supervision, facilitating desired clinical outcomes
- Provide timely responses to the needs of families in a supportive, therapeutic manner
- Maintain regular and effective communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure that all stakeholders including families, paraprofessionals, caregivers and funding sources are satisfied with services, including problem‑solving and resolution of concerns, timely reporting of issues, and follow up on identified resolutions
- Assist in building the team via behavior technician interviews and training
- Assist with scheduling of clients as needed
- Provide direct line therapy services to client as needed
- Assist behavior technicians with daily needs of clients
- Attend company required trainings and meetings, maintain continued education, certification(s) and license(s)
- Assist with company projects as needed, including development of materials
- Thorough understanding of ABA and proven clinical skills as evidenced by case study activity
- Self-disciplined with the ability to schedule and attend client appointments and clinical team meetings with consistency, reliability and punctuality
- Professional verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent clinical writing skills for client documentation, internal and external communication
- Efficient use of time and organizational skills to meet required deadlines
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Ability to supervise and lead that creates meaningful interpersonal relationships with team
- A collaborative attitude aligned with and supportive of the company’s mission and culture
- Master’s Degree with BCBA Certification
- At least one (1) year experience completing comprehensive assessments and behavior support plans, with preference given to individuals with previous Intellectual Developmental Disability (IDD) and/or autism experience
- Must pass a criminal background check, Recipient Rights background check and others as required
- Must complete additional training after employment including but not limited to company in‑services and required funding source trainings
