Reactor Operator

A manufacturer of light-weight automotive components is seeking a Reactor Operator at their Monroe, MI facility. This role is responsible for loading and unloading raw materials and maintaining chemical levels. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Available shift is 3rd shift, 11pm - 730am. Pay rate starts at $16/hr.

• Must poses extensive knowledge of HB area and all critical operations
• Know emergency procedures
• Know all process documentation for all positions in area
• Raw material loading and unloading procedures and checks
• DSC, Weight checks, QA checks on beads or material in area
• Know all utility checks for area including boiler room.
• Silo checks, and transfers
• Maintain HB and WWT chemical levels
• May be required to work extra hours based off customer requirements.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience working in metric numbers
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday.
• May be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required by the position.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
