- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and production equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose equipment problems and determine necessary repairs.
- Repair and replace mechanical and/or electrical components as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Follow all plant safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO).
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Document completed maintenance and repair work.
- Work with production and other maintenance team members as needed.
- Previous experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely work around industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Willingness to work in a UAW/union manufacturing environment
. - High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work required shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience.
- Experience with industrial maintenance and production equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Previous experience working in a union facility.
