Job SummaryOperators are responsible forthe safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and performing site work based on accepted company procedures. Duties will include overseeing the loading and unloading of materials, monitoring inventory levels, testing material, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to upholding operational standards to achieve operational targets.

- Attendsregularsafetymeeting and followsallsafetyguidelinesasrequired
- Maintain communication with utility
- Monitor and record levels of fly ash in silos and place orders as needed.
- Pulls samples offlyashfrom loads and silos for testing andperformsrequiredtests
- Loads trucks, railcarsor barges with fly ash directly from the silo
- Unloads trucks,railcars, orotherdeliversystem tofillflyashsilos
- Weighs trucks andrailcars andrecordsthe information inrelevantoperatingsystem or productionsheetandcreatestickets for billing
- Operates all loading equipment for loading trucks and/or rail cars including:water truck,dumptruck, vacuum truck, orforklifton sitewhenrequired
- Operate production equipment including start up and shut down
- Responds promptly to customer needs
- Follows established policies and procedures
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Strong verbal communication skills for conveying instructions, reporting issues, and collaborating with coworkers and supervisors
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Manages time effectively and meets productivity standards
- Observes safety and security procedures including using equipment and materials properly and following all safety absolutes
- Capacity to deal with problems and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Works well with others, follows instructions from supervisors and coordinates tasks with coworkers to achieve project goals
- Consistently punctual and reliable
- Ability and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Ability to adapt to changing job site conditions, equipment requirements, and project priorities
- High School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade
- At least 1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- The hourly pay rate is $18-$20/hr.
