Part-Time | Licensed Practical Nurse

Schedule

Positions available include working every other weekend and every other holiday

Available Shifts
  • Part-Time: 6:00pm - 10:30pm (32 hours per two week pay period)
  • Eight 4 hour shifts per two week pay period
  • Pay Range

    $26.71 – $36.25 per hour (based on experience)

    Education Required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Michigan Board of Nursing
  • Current CPR certification

    The Difference You’ll Make
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders
  • Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring resident response and effectiveness
  • Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
  • Communicate significant changes in condition to the Nurse Manager, physicians, and family members, ensuring appropriate follow-up
  • Provide guidance and support to CENAs to promote quality, person-centered care
  • Foster a respectful, compassionate environment for residents, families, and team members
  • Qualifications Education Required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Michigan Board of Nursing
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience Preferred
  • Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience in senior living, long-term care, or memory care preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and professional integrity
  • Commitment to compassionate, person-centered customer service
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and transferring residents
