The Difference You'll Make
Conduct daily rounds with staff, monitor care, and provide supportAssist Nurses and CENAs with resident care and tasks as neededProcess physician orders and laboratory results accurately and timelyCollaborate with the Unit Manager and cross train to provide coverage when neededPromote teamwork, accountability, and quality care standardsMust be available to be called in as needed when carrying the on-call supervisor phone to cover in Skilled, Assisted, or Memory care during staffing shortages.Demonstrate reliability and flexibility with scheduling and hours based on facility needs.Qualifications
Degree obtained from an accredited nursing program.Must be in good standing with the Michigan Board of Nursing and have a current nurse license.Minimum of one-year previous experience as a nurse required.Current CPR certificationSupervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living, or similar healthcare settingStrong leadership, communication, and customer service skillsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven ability to deliver exceptional, person-centered careExperience establishing, monitoring, and improving clinical best practices and quality outcomesAbility to support and integrate holistic and wellness-focused care programs within the communityDemonstrated success leading quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesStrong ability to educate, coach, and mentor staff on clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging best practicesThorough understanding of nursing department operations, including compliance with federal and state regulationsAbility to effectively lead change, communicate expectations clearly, and model professional behaviorsStrong collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams, leadership, residents, and familiesHigh commitment to customer service excellence and resident satisfactionDemonstrated leadership presence, sound clinical judgment, and decision-making abilityStrong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsProficiency with electronic health records and standard computer softwareRewards That Support You
