American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU travel position in Michigan, requiring an active MI RN license, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
Requirements- Active Michigan (MI) RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Experience with ventilated patient care
- Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips preferred
- Familiarity with SBAR communication framework
- Hospital ICU setting with potential floating to Monroe and/or other like units as needed
- Adult patient population with diagnoses including DKA, COVID, acute alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, respiratory distress, and CHF exacerbation
- Staffing ratio of 1:3 on all shifts
- Medication management via Pyxis
- Epic EMR required
- Night shift schedule: 3x12‑hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
- Every other weekend coverage required
- First‑time travelers will be evaluated on a case‑by‑case basis
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Required scrub colors: navy and white
- All time off and scheduling requests must be communicated at the time of initial consideration
- Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7‑year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
