Fusion Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Monroe, Michigan. The role is 10 weeks, 12‑hour night shifts, with 36 hours per week.

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergencies.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety, responding to immediate needs.
• Observe and document patient conditions as required.
• Take and monitor vital signs, address deviations to prevent complications.
• Respond to life‑saving situations per standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Document comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Initiate patient education plans per needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.

• One year of recent experience as an ER RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification.

• TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP and SANE certifications.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required.

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.
• Physical Abilities – must be able to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
• Interpersonal Skills – must work effectively with a variety of personnel, presenting a positive attitude and professionalism.
• Technical/Motor Skills – grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, move when assisting procedures and using equipment.
• Mental Requirements – cope with frequent contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, work without assistance, handle irregular activity schedules, and maintain concentration to detail.
• Sensory – possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate.
