Wellspring Skilled Nursing & Rehab – Monroe
Full-Time | Salaried $80,000 – $90,000 annually
Nursing was never just a job for you. You became a nurse because people matter. You remember what it feels like to sit with a worried family member, celebrate a resident's progress, mentor a new nurse through a difficult day, and advocate for someone who couldn't advocate for themselves.
At Wellspring Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Monroe, we're looking for a nurse leader who still believes those moments matter.
We need someone who understands that great resident care starts long before a treatment or medication pass. It starts with creating a culture where nurses feel supported, new team members feel confident, and every resident is cared for with dignity, compassion and excellence.
As our Assistant Director of Nursing, you'll be more than a clinical leader. You'll be a coach, teacher, problem-solver and trusted partner to our nursing team. You'll work alongside our Director of Nursing to strengthen clinical excellence, guide staff development, prevent infections, and ensure every resident receives the safe, high-quality care they deserve.
Most importantly, you'll help shape the kind of environment where both residents and caregivers can thrive.
What Your Impact Will Look LikeYou'll help new nurses find their footing and experienced nurses continue growing.
You'll walk alongside the care team, sharing your knowledge, answering questions and helping people become the best versions of themselves professionally.
You'll play a critical role in protecting residents through strong infection prevention practices, quality improvement efforts, and clinical oversight that keeps safety and dignity at the center of every decision.
You'll collaborate with physicians, therapists, leadership teams, and frontline caregivers to solve problems, improve outcomes and ensure every resident receives care that honors who they are.
Some days you'll be educating staff. Other days you'll be reviewing clinical trends, participating in wound rounds, responding to challenges, or celebrating successes with your team.
Every day, your leadership will make a difference.

- You enjoy mentoring others and understand the satisfaction that comes from helping a teammate gain confidence or reach a new level in their career.
- You value accountability, continuous learning and high standards—but you lead with encouragement and respect.
- You can see both the big picture and the details that matter. Whether you're helping improve a process, strengthening infection prevention practices or supporting staff through a challenging situation, you understand that strong leadership creates better outcomes for everyone.
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least two years of nursing experience
- Long-term care, sub-acute, medical-surgical or critical care experience preferred
- Infection Control certification, or willingness to obtain certification
