Travel Nurse Source  is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified Oncology RN in Monroe, Michigan, 48161!

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Description:

* Monday-Friday
* Weekend Requirement: every six-weeks for approximately two hours

Average Daily Census: 40

Visits per day: 7

Rooms: 14

Chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy infusion patients

Bone Marrow Transplant

Required:

Administration of bone marrow, CAR-T, Graft-versus-host disease, Stem cell therapies

Care of Patient

Required:

Bladder/Kidney Cancer, Brain cancer, Breast Cancer, Colorectal Cancer, Ear/Nose/Throat Cancers, Kidney Cancer, Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Liver Cancer, Lung cancer, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Melanoma, Multiple Myeloma Ovarian Cancer/Uterine Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Prostate Cancer Chemotherapy

Required:

Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal cytotoxic spills, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values IV Therapy/Infusions

Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of blood & blood products, Administration of coagulation factors, Antifungals, Antivirals, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Infusion pump management, Intravenous hydration/multivitamins, PICC line care, PICC line care Medications

Antibiotics, Antiemetics, Antitumor, Corticosteroids, Hormonal therapy, Neupogen Oncologic Emergencies

Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS), Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Sepsis Pain Management
