About you

The Field Regional Vice President (Field RVP) owns a defined geographic territory and is responsible for converting qualified presentations into successful Book Blast events while developing long-term school partnerships. While the role may include limited prospecting as needed, it primarily focuses on presentations, follow-up, and territory development, in partnership with an assigned Business Development Representative (BDR) who supports prospecting and meeting generation.

The Field RVP role balances remote and field‑based work, with the majority of presentations conducted virtually via Zoom, alongside in‑person presentations, follow‑up visits, and on‑side support during key moments such as book delivery days.

In addition to closing new business, the Field RVP is expected to be a collaborative, mission‑driven leader who actively engages with Customer Success, Business Development, and Sales leadership to help improve outcomes across the territory.

Requirements What you’ll do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own sales performance within an assigned territory, including conversion of qualified presentations into booked and executed Book Blast events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school leaders, with an emphasis on continuity, trust, and long‑term partnership.
  • Partner with an assigned BDR to ensure alignment on territory priorities, meeting quality, and follow‑up strategy.
  • Conduct high‑quality virtual presentations and follow‑up conversations with school decision‑makers.
  • Occasionally conduct in‑person presentations, follow‑up meetings, or attend book delivery days to support school success.
  • Identify early risk signals within the territory and proactively engage to prevent cancellations or fall‑off.
  • Collaborate closely with assigned Customer Success Managers to ensure strong execution, clear communication, and a positive school experience.
  • Use territory‑level data and observation to plan, prioritize, and grow the territory intentionally over time.
  • Provide feedback to Sales and Marketing leadership on messaging, objections, and territory‑specific insights.
  • Engage beyond direct responsibilities to support team initiatives, share best practices, and contribute to the broader sales organization.

Duties:

  • Deliver sales presentations to qualified school contacts and manage follow‑up through agreement.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation related to opportunities, contacts, and next steps.
  • Participate in training, coaching, and pilot evaluation activities related to the Field RVP test.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success to align on event readiness and execution timelines.
