This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when available.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Daytime, Saturday 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
How This Role Works- Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):
You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. - Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs of people, vehicles, and deliveries entering or leaving the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Support screening and checkpoint operations by following post orders, observing site rules, and reporting policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior in a timely manner.
- This position is primarily a driving post.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
