As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Monroe, MI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic utilities location as an Access Control professional in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support visitor and vehicle access procedures, and perform routine patrols to help promote a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and entry screening at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, review credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or other security-related concerns in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, control points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access issues, and/or site policy violations.
• Support daily operations by documenting activity, completing required reports, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel regarding security-related events and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
