Are you a skilled Journeyman Electrician looking for a rewarding career with a stable company that values teamwork, leadership, and continuous improvement? National Galvanizing is seeking an experienced Journeyman Maintenance Electrician to join our third-shift and second-shift maintenance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, mentoring others, and playing a key role in keeping our operation running safely and efficiently.

- Overtime opportunities with premium pay:
- Time and a half for overtime worked through Saturday
- Double time on Sundays (after 48 hours worked prior to Sunday)
- Company-provided PPE (excluding work boots, which are fully reimbursed)

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
- Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance.
- Mentor apprentices, newer maintenance employees, and frontline supervisors by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
- Required: Valid Journeyman Electrician or Journeyman Millwright certification.
- Candidates with a Journeyman Electrician license and strong mechanical/millwright experience or a Journeyman Millwright license with strong electrical experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong team-oriented attitude.
- A willingness to teach, mentor, and lead others.

Shift: 4:00 p.m.
- 12:00 a.m. - Third
Shift: 12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. - Maintenance employees work every other weekend.
- Flexibility is important, as occasional extended shifts may be necessary to resolve equipment issues.
- Maintenance employees are expected to work scheduled holidays when required, as many major maintenance projects are completed during holiday shutdowns.
