Cool Sys is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Service Tech 4 to provide advanced service, diagnostics, and repairs for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical customers. In this field role, you'll troubleshoot complex refrigeration and HVAC systems, perform preventive maintenance, start-ups, and emergency repairs, and ensure safe, efficient operation. You'll interpret schematics, document work, and interact directly with customers. Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient system operation
  • Respond to emergency service calls and complete start-ups, retrofits, and component replacements
  • Interpret and work from technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Handle refrigerants safely in compliance with EPA and company standards
  • Document all work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service reports
  • Coordinate with dispatch, project managers, and team members to meet customer schedules
  • Communicate clearly with customers on findings, options, and system performance
  • Follow all Cool
  • Sys and OSHA safety policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Support mentoring of junior technicians and contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused culture
