PAYRANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $26.00–$32.12 hourly. Compensation decisions are based on job‑related skills, experience, and education. Incentives are available and performance‑based.

As a Member Consultant II, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless and high‑quality member experience. Your expertise will help identify, diagnose, and address members’ financial needs and refer them to specialized services.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Utilize product knowledge to provide excellent customer service and sales in business services, consumer lending, deposit servicing, IRA, POA, and fiduciary accounts.
- Sign all line and loan documents that originate through outbound/inbound call center, ensuring member needs are fulfilled.
- Assist the community with financial wellness education and resources.
Training: 12 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
Post‑Training:
Flexible shifts Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM; up to 3 Saturdays/month 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in a sales‑oriented, financial, or retail environment.
- One year of experience in a financial institution.
- Spanish language fluency highly desirable.
- Thorough understanding of the sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently.
- Strong proficiency with learning new systems and navigating multiple programs.
- Ability to complete a 12‑week in‑house training program.
- Comprehensive knowledge of credit union objectives, products, and services.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws governing membership, deposits, and loans.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem resolution, negotiation, organization, multi‑tasking and peer coaching skills.
- Flexible shift availability.
This role is part of a pod in BECU’s North District. Pod branches include Mill Creek, Monroe, and Seattle Hill Road. Training will take place at the Tukwila Financial Center. Travel between branches and training location is required. One‑year commitment to the pod and role expected before pursuing other opportunities.
