General Purpose of Job

Responsible for the day-to-day operation inside the warehouse environment. Oversees a specific functional area within the warehouse. Leads, motivates, coaches, and mentors our staff to achieve best in industry standards of excellence and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, performance managing employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions, and adhering to policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area within our 5S systems
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
  • Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolves problems, and identifies warehouse system improvements
  • Meets warehouse financial standards by monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against L&R carton label
Leadership
  • Supervise, lead, and direct the selection, training, development, appraisal, and work assignments of personnel
Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skill

Computer Operations

Proficient computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
