FFO Account Executive (Food Facility Operations) (Project Management)

Position Summary

The FFO Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth and managing ongoing customer relationships for the Food Facility Operations Service Line. This role focuses on selling and managing account relationships with a primary emphasis on Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair services, while also promoting additional commercial facility service offerings. This position requires a high-energy sales professional who is comfortable prospecting, closing new accounts, and maintaining long-term client partnerships through proactive communication, site visits, and solution-based selling across food service, healthcare, and commercial facility environments.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
  • Prospect and develop new business within the food service facility market including restaurants, chains, cafeterias, schools, healthcare food service, and commissaries
  • Identify and build relationships with owners/operators, general managers, facility managers, regional and district managers, and maintenance or operations teams
  • Conduct in-person, event-based, digital, and telephonic sales outreach including cold calling, networking, and referral development
  • Schedule and conduct facility walkthroughs to assess service needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and service agreements aligned with company pricing standards
  • Close new business and ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations
Account Management & Customer Success
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Maintain and grow customer relationships through regular site visits, scheduled check-ins, and proactive issue resolution
  • Drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling commercial facility services including kitchen exhaust services, EVS/Janitorial, specialized floor care, sterile medical environment services, building engineering, and general facility maintenance services
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure services are delivered as sold and meet customer expectations
  • Assist with service scheduling coordination and communicate changes effectively
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally to protect retention and long-term value
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and support contract renewals
Pipeline, Reporting & CRM
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect records in CRM
  • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and forecasting metrics
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, closed sales, account retention, and customer feedback
Products & Services Sold
  • Kitchen exhaust hood cleaning
  • Kitchen exhaust hood inspection, repair, and maintenance
  • EVS / Janitorial services
  • Specialized floor care services
  • Pressure and power washing
  • Window cleaning
  • General facility maintenance and repair services
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of B2B sales and/or account management experience (service industry preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close new business
  • Experience managing customer relationships and renewals
  • Strong communication skills including phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory or account list
  • Comfortable working in and around food service and healthcare facilities
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and CRM systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling facility services such as janitorial, maintenance, pressure washing, or specialty cleaning
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, healthcare compliance, or NFPA 96-related services
  • Experience selling to multi-location or chain accounts
  • Existing network within food service, facilities management, or property management
