Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Monday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Tuesday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document access activity in support of security‑related operations.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as assigned, to help deter unauthorized access and support security‑related awareness.
  • Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or local responders regarding post instructions, restricted areas, and access‑related concerns while following Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
