Softball Coach

Premier Player HQ (PPH), based in Middlesex County, NJ, is a leading destination for comprehensive player development. We offer private lessons, competitive travel teams, team training, camps and clinics, strength training, and cage rentals, all under one roof. Our facilities are home to NJ Arm Farm, Long Ball Army, and Central Jersey Strength and Speed Institute, where athletes enhance their arm strength, power, and speed.

As we continue to grow, PPH is officially expanding into softball and seeking a driven leader to help build and run our softball program from the ground up.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Monroe, NJ.

PPH is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Softball Program Director / Lead Coach who wants more than just a coaching position. We are looking for someone who is ready to take ownership of our softball division and build something special inside an already established performance facility.

This role is ideal for a coach who wants to:

• Lead and grow a full softball development program
• Teach pitching, hitting, fielding, and overall player development
• Run private lessons, group sessions, camps, and clinics
• Develop and manage competitive travel teams
• Build a strong culture centered around development, accountability, and competitiveness
• Recruit athletes and grow program enrollment
• Operate with autonomy while leveraging PPH’s existing brand, facility, and resources

You will have the opportunity to essentially run your own softball business within our business, with the support, infrastructure, and reputation of Premier Player HQ behind you.

• Plan and deliver high-level skills training (pitching, hitting, fielding, strength integration)
• Design long-term development programs for athletes of all ages
• Build and manage competitive travel softball teams
• Organize camps, clinics, and showcase opportunities
• Assess athlete performance and create improvement plans
• Foster a positive, competitive, and growth-driven training environment
• Collaborate with strength and performance staff
• Assist in marketing and promoting the softball division
• Serve as a leader and culture-setter within the PPH community

• Strong background in Softball (Baseball knowledge is a plus)
• Experience coaching pitching, hitting, and defensive skills
• Experience running or assisting with travel teams preferred
• Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership ability
• Strong communication skills with athletes, parents, and staff
• Ability to build relationships and grow a program
• Knowledge of strength & conditioning principles is a plus
• Previous coaching certifications are beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or related field preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
