Material Handler Seasonal- 1st Shift

Location:

Monroe Distribution Center, just off Exit 8A on the NJ Turnpike.

Position:
Package Handler (Warehouse).

• Starting rate $16.50 per hour for first shift.
• Overtime available for daily and weekend shifts.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and foster a safe work environment.
• Palletize, put away and ship product in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work on the warehouse floor, involving repeated lifting, bending, and reaching up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods as needed.
• Rotate within all material handler functions, including loading/unloading, providing trays, case pack materials, and other duties assigned.
• Work with a sense of urgency and care, ensuring daily production goals are met or exceeded.
• Assist new hires and department transfers and address any questions they have.
• Communicate positively with all booksellers and management.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Flexible with schedule required during peak season as business needs arise.

• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely at all times.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills and mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented and accurate.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
