Senior Cost Accountant
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join our engineering team. This role involves managing all aspects of cost accounting, including monthly reporting, financials, annual budgeting, inventory analysis, and the Bill of Materials. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of cost accounting and financial management within the organization.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain the annual budget, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Conduct detailed inventory analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the Bill of Materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in costing.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve performance.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on all matters related to cost accounting.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments in cost accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (CMA, CPA) preferred.
- Proven experience in monthly reporting, financials, annual budgeting, inventory analysis, and managing the Bill of Materials.
