- Accounts Receivable Technician (Part-Time)
The Accounts Receivable Technician is a part-time position (up to 27.5 hours per week) located on the OCH campus in Monroe, NC. Under the direction of the Accounts Receivable Coordinator, this role is responsible for the accounts receivable functions of the college.
Essential Duties Summary
- Assist in the registration process of all students by accepting payments, issuing receipts, distributing computer generated registration forms, and directing students to fill out proper paperwork for financial aid payment processing. Greet persons coming to the Business Office and channel to appropriate areas for information and assistance. Maintain computerized student accounts by researching charges and payments and making adjustments to accounts as necessary.
Assume responsibility for accuracy of add-on charges to student accounts such as graduation fees, and other course-specific fees. Backup for processing incoming and outgoing mail for the OCH campus. Reconcile credit card and other automatic deposits. College vehicle scheduling for the OCH campus. Duties may include travel between campuses and throughout the state. Work occasional nights and weekends as needed and as duties require.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Receivable Coordinator, the Director of Financial Services or the Vice President of Finance and Auxiliary Services.
Required Qualifications
- · High School Diploma and 2 years office experience.
· Experience in Microsoft Office.
· Strong organizational and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- · Associate's degree in business administration or related business field.
