Receptionist; Front Office Secretary

Position: Receptionist (Front Office Secretary)
This person will serve as the Receptionist for Marvin Elementary School. The candidate will complete duties related to being our front office secretary. This candidate will demonstrate professionalism, a positive attitude, excellent and effective communication skills, and a problem-solving approach to situations. This member will be part of our office team and work collaboratively with all staff, parents, and school stakeholders to safely carry out our school's mission of Preparing All Students to Succeed.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following: answering the main phone, overseeing all visitors to campus (including creating and maintaining sign-ups for lunch and classroom visitors), ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times, communicating with staff and students, overseeing our after school dismissal processes and platform, assisting the office team as/when needed (including the Health Room if needed), performing clerical duties for administration and.or

staff as needed, performing other duties as assigned. Maintaining a safe campus at all times is a primary role of this position as this candidate will communicate with any visitors entering or leaving our campus.
