Corporate Education Assistant (Federal Work Study)
This position will be located at the Tyson Family Center for Technology in Monroe, working under the direction of the Corporate Education & Training Specialist.
Essential Duties
Summary:
Administrative support. Assist in the day-to-day admin tasks of the Corporate Education Department: scheduling meetings, data entry, creating course folders, organizing training materials, maintaining records, and coordinating with other departments.
Required Qualifications:
Good communication and organizational skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented. Interest in education, community engagement, or program development preferred. Willingness to learn and be mentored professionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideally pursuing a degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field. Strong organizational skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. Excellent communication skills:
Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, as the role involves coordinating with various departments and assisting in creating training materials. Basic technical proficiency:
Familiarity with common office software (like Microsoft Office Suite) and an ability to learn new technologies (such as Salesforce). Teamwork and collaboration:
Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment and under the guidance of senior staff. Interest in corporate education: A genuine interest in learning and development, particularly in a corporate setting.
