- Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
- Active North Carolina medical license
- Able to respond within 30 minutes while on call
- Comfortable with 2nd call / backup coverage
- Available ASAP through 12/31/2026
- Fellowship training
- Coverage Type: Locums
- Coverage Scope: General Orthopedic call only
- Hospitals Covered: 2 hospitals in close proximity
- Case Type: Emergency cases only (no elective cases)
- Trauma Designation: None
- Coverage Days: Weekdays and weekends
- Average Coverage: Approximately 7 days per month
- Call Type: Pager call
- Call Ratio: 1 in 3
- On-Site Requirement: Must be able to go on-site as needed
- APP Coverage: None
- ED consults
- Inpatient orthopedic consults
- Fracture management
- Admissions and rounding on unassigned patients
- After-hours calls from answering service and nursing units
- Beds: 200
