We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Monroe, NC on a part‑time basis for a 12‑month school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast‑paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school‑age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

The role entails 15 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 12:30pm to 3:30pm. You will plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success, maintain accurate attendance and session reports, and work with class sizes ranging from 8–15 patients.

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• North Carolina teaching license
• Comfortable working with K–12 students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable transportation
