Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

This role serves as on-site technical representative of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) team, acting as primary local owner of Aluminum Hubs and Iron Drum machining of wheel end products. This person is responsible of machining equipment, tooling and inspection specifications, validation and change readiness at the Monroe, USA and Monterrey, Mexico machining facilities. This person serves as the technical authority for machining processes, engineering changes, audits, and specification compliance in support of launches and change implementation.
Partners closely with the local Manufacturing, Quality engineering, and Operations teams to ensure machining process aligns with AME standards and supports timely production readiness.

Qualifications
Education:
Preferred:
Bachelors or better in Materials Science & Engineering or related field. Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
Required:
4 years:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/manufacturing engineering/Materials/Metallurgy, or a related field.
Preferred: 10 years: 10+ years of progressive experience in CNC Aluminum machining in highly automated environments.
