Position Overview
We are seeking a professional Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within an outpatient and urgent care clinic. This role focuses on delivering efficient clinical services while collaborating closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, organized, and committed to compassionate, team-based healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Examine, assess, and treat patients under physician supervision
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications within scope of practice and state guidelines
- Collaborate with MDs, NPs, and nursing staff to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Active Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina)
- Experience in outpatient, family medicine, or urgent care settings preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal abilities
- Team-oriented, organized, and detail-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
