Monroe, NC | Full-Time
The MR Technologist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.
What We're Looking For- Education:
2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required. - Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred. - Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required. NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility
- Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required. Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required. Applicable state license, required. - Additional Skills (required):
Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
