REVOLUTION AUTO PARTS

Quality Control - Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Monroe, NC | Full-Time | Monday–Friday 10 pm-7am

At Revolution Auto Parts, quality does not happen by accident. Our Quality Control Inspector is the final checkpoint before an automotive part is stocked or shipped to a customer. We are looking for someone who notices the details, respects the process, understands automotive parts, and takes ownership of the result.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with experience in a body shop, collision center, dealership parts department, repair shop, parts-ordering role, or automotive recycling operation. Just as important: you are dependable, coachable, comfortable working as part of a team, and ready to grow.

What you’ll do
  • Package parts for internal delivery or freight
  • Inspect and clean all parts brought in by part pullers
  • Create and scan UPS shipping labels
  • Ensure packaging meets shipping qualifications for designated type of delivery
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of shipping and QC area
  • Add parts into resolution if necessary
  • Stage parts in appropriate racks for drivers
  • Ensure that every part has pictures attached to the work order
  • Upload all tracking information to the invoice
  • Ensure all brokered parts have the PO number written on the part
  • Ensure all driveline parts are engraved, heat tabbed, and plugged
  • Communicate any shipping supply needs to Night Lead
Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping & Packaging:
    • Package parts for UPS, freight, or internal delivery
    • Select appropriate packaging materials
    • Ensure packaging protects parts during transit
  • Labeling & Documentation:
    • Create and scan shipping labels accurately
    • Verify shipping details before shipment
    • Upload tracking information to systems
    • Ensure all required photos are attached before shipment
  • Order Accuracy:
    • Match parts to correct work orders
    • Confirm labeling is accurate and visible
    • Ensure brokered parts include required PO numbers
  • Organization:
    • Stage completed orders appropriately
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the work area
    • Communicate supply needs

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior shipping and receiving experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to assess autopart condition accurately.
  • Comfort using basic hand tools and learning inventory or warehouse systems.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly and work in indoor warehouse and outdoor yard conditions.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Schedule & benefits
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday; no weekend work required.
  • Start time between 10pm and 7:00 AM, as scheduled.
  • After 60 days: , dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match; paid time off; and holiday pay.
