Quality MRB Technician, 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 8am to 4pm

Job SummaryThe Quality MRB Technician processes customer returns through 3M Monroe’s standard process for returned goods, coordinates the Return to Vendor process for non‑conforming material returned to suppliers, and facilitates tasks within the site’s SCARP approval and disposal processes. The role interacts daily with cross‑functional team members across several departments.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with internal resources across various functions (Service, Quality, Finance, Customer Service, Production Planning, Shipping, Sourcing etc.) to facilitate the RTV and RMA processes.
- Evaluate product delivered through customer RGAs by verifying product information and specifications against engineering drawings.
- Work with planning to obtain STOs and perform the necessary transactions in SAP to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Communicate and coordinate opportunities for rework with Quality Engineers and Manufacturing Leads.
- Utilize the Supplier Quality Management System platform to process Supplier Returns.
- Act as a liaison between the vendor and other quality team members when handling returns for non-conformances.
- Assist the Finance department in resolving discrepancies with customer and vendor credits.
- Leverage numerous reports from SAP and 3M Reporting site to ensure data accuracy for RMA/RGA trackers.
- Utilize SAP scripting to ensure transaction accuracy, including adjusting serial numbers, processing deliveries, material movements, and scrapping.
- Maintain ongoing historical data for customer RGAs and vendor RMAs.
- Facilitate the verification of standard costs in the Scrap Approval Process, complete the system transactions, and manage the physical disposal of scrapped materials.
- Operate under minimum direction while prioritizing and executing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Create and maintain reports and presentations for management review.
- Complete all required training within assigned timelines.
- Comply with all site EHS, HR, and Quality policies.
- High School Diploma and 2 years of experience processing customer returns/RMAs, or an associate’s degree with 1 year of experience in that area.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Three years of manufacturing/quality related functional experience.
- Ability to collect, compile, and interpret data for analysis through charts and pivot tables.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Above-average computer skills and basic math skills.
- Experience using basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Ability to read and understand complex assembly and component blueprints.
- Experience communicating with suppliers, engineers, and management about quality issues.
All candidates must successfully complete 3M’s Maintenance Battery test.

Pay & BenefitsPay for this position is $27.81 per hour. This targeted compensation range is a good faith estimate and may vary based on factors including job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Other benefits and incentives may apply.
