Job Description:

Comply with all plant safety regulations and company policies. Understand and have experience in setting-up and operating of CNC horizontal and vertical mills including axis assignment/basic program interpretation and editing. Be able to select applicable Fixturing required. Load Fixturing. Perform limited in-process inspections with assigned gaging. Determine the correct print for each part. Read and understand the dimensions and tolerances stated therein.

Perform limited in-process inspections with assigned gauging. Using the work instruction & print provided adjust the tooling diameters and depth's to keep the parts within print. Follow all ISO procedures. Perform all tooling changes and touch-offs as required - including Drills/End mills/Reamers. Determine the condition of running tools and perform minor qualified tooling changes such as indexable inserts on both CNC lathes and CNC VMCs.

Perform minor preventative maintenance assignments as required - no instruction. Complete accurate and thorough daily quality and production documents. Implement and maintain 5S for assigned areas. Other duties as assigned and required by the supervisor.
