Raw Materials Associate

ESSENTIAL TASKS:

Receive, weigh, and identify raw materials.
Can up weighed out heats in correct sequence.
Load and unload trucks, verifying load with packing list.
Accumulate raw materials for various furnace charges according to heat sheet.
Pull samples and take to lab for processing.
Follow VIM schedule to determine heats needed to be weighed out.
Follow prescribed safety regulations.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS:

Assist charge clerk, scrap sorter, VIM personnel, Etc. and other duties as assigned

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Over 6 and up to 9 months of previous manufacturing experience

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED required
Prior fork truck experience is preferred
Work from charge sheets, use weigh scales.
Make simple use of formulas.
