Smooths surfaces of wooden articles, such as cabinet panels using sandpaper.
Essential Functions- Places proper grit sandpaper on hand sander
- Sands specified portions of wood products
- Uses hands and eye to feel and watch for proper sanding and any unremovable defects in the product
- Identifies and corrects defects
- Continually checks sandpaper for wear
- Keeps area clean and organized
- Performs other related duties as needed
- Ability to print and speak simple words in English.
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to pass medical respiratory evaluation.
