Position: NC PLANT MANAGER

Decore-ative Specialties is seeking an execution-focused Plant Manager and integrator to lead daily operations and drive results at one of our premier manufacturing facilities. You will manage all aspects of plant operations—Production, Quality, Purchasing, Facilities, Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing—ensuring the plant delivers world‑class quality and service to customers. Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Five (5) years’ minimum experience in the woodworking and/or custom cabinet components industry, leading operations and manufacturing processes; management in a manufacturing environment and organization leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or equivalent experience
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate staff while embracing the EOS Operating System
    • Integrator focus as deduced from the EOS Crystallizer Assessment
  • Proven leadership across multiple departments (Production, Production Detail, Quality, Purchasing, Facilities, Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing)
    • Production – Wood, RTF, Drawer Boxes, RTA‑Cabinets, Finishing
  • Strong project management skills and manufacturing operations experience
  • Analytical mindset comfortable with data analysis, pivot tables, financials, and performance metrics
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement using data
  • Mechanically inclined with an understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Experience managing plant‑level operations with full P&L ownership
  • Passion for people development and integration
  • Comfortable with occasional Saturday work
  • Not a job hopper and looking for career stability
Daily Focus (Responsibilities)
  • Production Oversight – Manage day‑to‑day operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • EOS Integration – Implement and maintain EOS processes, tools, and methodologies across departments.
  • Cross‑Functional Liaison – Serve as a bridge between manufacturing and EOS teams, ensuring alignment and communication.
  • Strategic Planning – Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Performance Management – Monitor key metrics, analyze data, and make data‑driven decisions to improve performance.
  • Resource Allocation – Manage resources, including staffing, equipment, and materials, to meet production and EOS goals.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Business Administration or a related field

  • Proficiency with the EOS Operating System and demonstrated integrator focus
  • Proven leadership across multiple manufacturing departments

  • Full P&L ownership experience at the plant level
