Overview
Manufacturing Engineer who can make an immediate impact on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance. This role designs, implements, and continuously improves manufacturing processes and equipment while supporting day‑to‑day plant activity and driving strategic improvements.
Job Responsibilities- Review manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and develop and implement improvement initiatives.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, relieve bottlenecks, and address capacity constraints.
- Provide hands‑on, day‑to‑day engineering support to assigned production areas.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions using structured problem‑solving tools.
- Design and redesign manufacturing cell layouts for optimal material flow and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain standard work to meet quality requirements and strengthen business continuity.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to drive alignment and results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in metals machining and electronics manufacturing.
- Experience with AutoCAD for work cell layouts and design.
- Strong working knowledge of lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated success leading impactful cost‑savings or process‑improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to excel in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and make effective real‑time decisions.
- CNC programming experience.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification.

The role requires frequent talking and hearing, sitting, using hands and fingers, and occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, or balancing.
