Job SummaryOur client is seeking a CNC Machinist to produce high-quality products by operating and maintaining machining equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and troubleshooting machines, performing precision measurements, reading blueprints, and ensuring products meet quality and dimensional specifications. The ideal candidate has machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments and technical drawings.
Job Description- Machine and debur components and manifolds
- Set up multiple jobs and operate in a cell environment
- Troubleshoot minor machining problems
- Maintain production and quality data
- Support other departmental duties as required
- Set up and use center distance, bore gaging, and precision measuring equipment to maintain required dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect, disassemble, sharpen, and reassemble broaches or drills
- Operate hoist-operated cranes and other lifting equipment
- Follow verbal and written instructions, including drawings, setup cards, charts, tables, and job tag instructions
- Select and properly grind cutting tools suitable for various materials and machining operations
- Proficiency in mathematics and the use of drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints, and technical instructions
- Ability to define routine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- CNC, HMC, Lathe, and grinding machining experience
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- Ability to occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and, on rare occasions, up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
