Job Title
Senior Director of Nursing (Health & Wellness Director) – RN required, Senior Living Clinical Leadership in a Memory Care Community Experience strongly preferred.
Job OverviewAbout the Director of Nursing Position – As Director of Nursing at Brookdale, you will inspire, lead, and manage the overall operation of the clinical team to provide the highest quality of care for residents. You will build relationships with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers for exceptional personalized care, collaborate with community leadership, mentor associates, and enhance resident and family satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day clinical services of the community to meet residents’ healthcare needs and maintain quality care.
- Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, and adapt care as needs change.
- Supervise, coach, and provide leadership to licensed nurses and direct care staff.
- Determine HWD level for each community based on complexity criteria such as size, product lines, medication management, assessment requirements, and state regulatory requirements.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with state nursing license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and electronic documentation.
- Structured six‑week orientation, online resources, local mentor, and ongoing collaborative support.
