Registered Nurse; RN

Transcend ED is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to support our residential treatment facility in Monroe, North Carolina (28110 & 28112). This is a part-time role requiring 25-30 hours per week, ideal for an experienced nurse who is confident working autonomously, yet looking to make a meaningful impact in a therapeutic setting focused on healing and recovery while working within a collaborative and innovative environment.

The RN will ensure timely follow-through on all physician orders and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive client care.

• Conduct weekly nursing visits for up to 6 clients at the residential facility
• Complete nursing notes and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Perform admission nursing assessments
• Monitor and record daily vitals
• Administer medications each morning and initiate med count
• MAR management
• Coordinate follow‑up for medical orders, including labs, EKGs, and other appointments with Psychiatrist, PMHNP, FNP
• Collaborate with the Treatment Team to support holistic care
• Attend weekly interdisciplinary team meeting
• Provide nursing consultation as needed
• Administer first aid/body checks PRN
• Interpret clinical data and initiate the established protocols.
• Medication pickups at the pharmacy as needed.

• RN in good standing in North Carolina
• Strong understanding of nursing principles and clinical practices
• Proficient in medication administration and use
• Experience with eating disorder or behavioral health clients is preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral

• Credentialing is required; details provided upon application
• Must be physically able to perform standard RN duties as needed

• Nursing: 3-4 years (Required)

• North Carolina Nursing Licensure (Required)
