WNC Safety Coordinator Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Divisional Safety Manager, the Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all employees. The role involves conducting department inspections, delivering classroom and production training, providing first aid, preparing required reports such as Accident‑Injury Forms, updating online safety records, assisting with corrective measures, researching and compiling regulatory data, enforcing policies, coordinating the safety committee, and presenting monthly corporate calls concerning safety updates.
Must have on-site safety experience.
QualificationsEntry level position.
Required:
1–2 years office, production, or safety experience. OSHA 10‑hour certification, First Aid, AED, and CPR. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to present or train in front of large and small groups. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
6:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Thursday (10 hours) with occasional later start days. Friday/Saturday as needed (8 hours).
LocationMonroe, NC (Onsite; not remote).
CompensationHourly Rate: $25.00 – Full‑time position.
