WNC Safety Coordinator
Under the direction of the Divisional Safety Manager, the Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all employees. Need to conduct department inspections, training in classroom and production RIR. Provide first aid, prepare required reports (ie Accident
- Injury Forms) and update online. Coordinator will also assist with corrective measures, research and compile regulatory data, policy enforcement, and coordinate the safety committee. Additionally, they will present the monthly corporate calls concerning safety updates. Must have on-site safety experience. Hours 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday
- Thursday (10 hours) - some possible later start days occasionally. Friday/Saturday as needed (8 hours) Entry level position.
Required:
1-2 years office, production and/or safety experience. OSHA 10 hr, First Aid, AED, and CPR. Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint. Ability to present/train in front of large and small groups. Read, write, and speak English. ONSITE in Monroe, NC. This position is not remote.
