REVOLUTION AUTO PARTS
Quality Control Inspector
Monroe, NC | Full-Time | Monday-Friday
Be the person who makes sure it’s right
At Revolution Auto Parts, quality does not happen by accident. Our Quality Control Inspector is the final checkpoint before an automotive part is stocked or shipped to a customer. We are looking for someone who notices the details, respects the process, understands automotive parts, and takes ownership of the result.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with experience in a body shop, collision center, dealership parts department, repair shop, parts-ordering role, or automotive recycling operation. Just as important: you are dependable, coachable, comfortable working as part of a team, and ready to grow.
What you’ll do- Inspect salvaged automotive parts before they are stocked or shipped.
- Verify part identity, fitment, condition, completeness, and grade using company standards.
- Identify cracks, corrosion, missing hardware, structural damage, excessive wear, and other defects.
- Use part numbers, vehicle information, interchange data, photos, and condition notes to confirm accuracy.
- Document inspection results, rejection reasons, and part dispositions accurately in company systems.
- Follow the inspection process in the correct sequence—no skipped steps or shortcuts.
- Communicate issues quickly and work with pullers, warehouse staff, sales, and leadership to solve problems.
- Spot recurring issues and suggest practical ways to improve quality and workflow.
- Detail-oriented:
You catch what others miss and consistently verify your work. - Process-oriented:
You follow established steps, stay organized, and understand why consistency matters. - Accountable and responsible:
You own your work, follow through, and communicate early when something is off. - Technically strong:
You can identify automotive parts and evaluate condition, fitment, and completeness. - Team-focused:
You share information, solve problems professionally, and help the entire operation succeed. - Coachable:
You welcome feedback, ask good questions, and put coaching into practice. - Leadership potential:
You show sound judgment, initiative, consistency, and the ability to reinforce standards and earn trust.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of automotive parts, body shop/collision, parts ordering, salvage, quality inspection, or related experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to assess part condition accurately.
- Comfort using basic hand tools and learning inventory or warehouse systems.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and work in indoor warehouse and outdoor yard conditions.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
We are looking beyond today’s opening. The right person will have the potential to take on broader responsibility and develop toward a future leadership role. Advancement is not automatic or guaranteed; it is earned through performance, reliability, judgment, teamwork, and the needs of the business.
Schedule & benefits- Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday; no weekend work required.
- Start time between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM, as scheduled.
- After 60 days: , dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match; paid time off; and holiday pay.
