The Quality Control Technician inspects, tests, and monitor products/processes to ensure they meet company standards, identifying defects, documenting findings and collaborating with teams to implement processes and improve overall quality, using precision tools, and following protocols. Key duties include routine inspections, data analysis, equipment calibration, training production staff and maintaining quality documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities regularly performed and normally assigned to this position are as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect & Test – Conduct visual checks and performance tests on raw materials, WIP items and finished goods.
Document & Report – Maintain detailed records, logs and reports of inspections, defects and test results, communicating findings to management and production.
Problem Solving – Identify non-conforming products, investigate root causes and help develop corrective actions.
Calibration & Maintenance Calibrate and maintain testing equipment for accuracy.
Training – Educate production staff on quality standards, procedures and compliance.
Data Collection – Collect data reports and enter information into various spreadsheets notifying QC Manager when data reports are insufficient.
All other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and
Certifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus Proven experience in a similar quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of GMP, ISO or relevant industry standards
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel experience is required)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
